TZX4 is a culture medium developed by Dr. Shinn-Zhong Lin and his team at the Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital. Through a technology transfer partnership, we are applying this technology towards stem cell treatments to deliver higher efficacy solutions to patients.

Donor age is a major factor in stem cell efficacy, with older aged cells negatively impacting efficacy. ADSCs isolated from elderly donors have decreased biological activity, including differentiation and regenerative potential. The introduction of TZX4 in the culture medium has shown the ability to restore cells to their prime states – for example in studies, cells from a 64-year old patient were restored to a 34-year old state after 11 days. After 15 days they were restored to the equivalent of a 19-year old state
